Provided support for a nation-wide study on the housing needs of the Elderly

Originally an advisory committee to the Government of prominent persons in the community

Published and distributed information newsletter to all pensioners

Age Concern members were asked to participate in the first advisory committee for this education program.

In partnership with the Seniors’ Islanders Club, now an annual, widely celebrated week in the calendar year.

Advisory Committee members of the housing study were Age Concern directors and other community stakeholders.

The program provided seniors with a matching service for live-in companions. The program is now under the auspices of the National Office for Seniors and the Physically Challenged.
