Abuse & Mental Health

Mental health and abuse concerns are some of the highest reported concerns among seniors. It is necessary that we pay attention and do all that we can to support mental health and prevent physical, financial, and sexual abuse. Age concern does not actively provide case work support. However, there are local agencies that specialize in supporting mental health and abuse-related concerns.

If you need immediate emergency support, please contact the police (911) or file a report at the police station (52 Victoria St, 247-1704). If you would like to file an abuse report regarding a senior or receive active case management, contact Aging and Disability services.
