Financial Planning & Retirement
While we do not have a financial planner on staff, we know how important it is to have trusted guidance when it comes to managing your money and preparing for the future.
We recommend that you first contact your pension provider and ask to speak with their retirement specialist. Each of Bermuda’s regulated Pension Administrators has a dedicated advisor who can provide guidance about your private pension income and help you set a strategy for the years ahead. These companies are:
Allshores Bermuda Limited (previously The Argus Group & BFM Limited)
These specialists are also an excellent resource for members aged 50–65, as they can provide advice on setting retirement strategies early, helping you to better prepare and budget for retirement.
In addition, you may find it helpful to reach out to:
Local banks and credit unions – many offer free financial planning sessions and budgeting tools for customers.
Bermuda Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) – provides workshops and guidance on financial literacy and money management.
Independent financial planning firms such as L&A Bermuda – offering broader wealth, estate, and retirement planning services.
Finally, if your concern relates to immediate financial hardship (such as difficulty paying for food, electricity, or medication), please let us know. You may be eligible for support through Age Concern Bermuda’s Hardship Support Programme.
