Housing
Finding housing that fits your financial and safety needs is important. We acknowledge the challenge of the Bermuda housing market and seek to support you in your search.
Age Concern does not currently have an active housing program, nor do we conduct comprehensive assessments on the options available. We urge you to do your due diligence when engaging with potential landlords. Some questions to consider:
Is the price of this unit sustainable with my monthly income?
Is the unit a place where I feel I can age safely and successfully?
Is the landlord amenable to having a senior tenant?
Is the unit wheelchair accessible?
What are the average utility costs? Are these sustainable?
Did I get an agreement with the landlord in writing?
